2000, 16.2hh black V.Pr.St. GOV mare
Lord Liberty G/Donnerhall/Pik Bube
Breeder: Sven & Gonnelien Rothenberger, GER
SOLD!!! – OR, USA

Donna, pronounced Don-eah, is a fabulous mare with a deep-rooted German history. She has presence, rhythm, movement, and personality all in one.  Imported in 2005, she brought old lines and talent.

Lord Liberty G is described as the ideal model being very correct with three excellent gaits. In the German media, Lord Liberty G was exclaimed in 2001 to be the biggest breeding success. In 2000, Lord Liberty G’s daughter, Liberty Largo, conquered the Champion’s title with the five-year-old dressage horses. His offspring have been in demand at German auctions, and at the 2001 PSI auction his daughter, Love Parade, was sold for 900,000.

Donna’s first foal is MW Dante’s Inferno and I could not be more impressed or thrilled with the result. Stunning colt!

“The end of the Cold War between the East and West was officially finalized with the fall of the Berlin wall in 1989. Not only was this an end of prejudice relationship and hatred between the capitalist and communist world, but it also meant the union between east and west Germany. In 1990 Germany celebrated this unity, the “Deutsche Einheit”, in front of their parliamental building “Reichstag”, in Vechta, the headquarters of the Oldenburg Verband, this union was celebrated with a special horse named Deutsche Einheit.

Deutsche Einheit was second in the Federal Championships in Verden in 1992 and in the same year she was top-priced lot of all the German Breed Societies auctions reaching DM420,000 (£147,000). Her full brother Duntroon was vice-champion stallion of the Oldenburg approvals in 1993 and in 1994 he won the stallion performance test in Adelheidsdorf. Sold at the Vechta Elite auction for an astronomical 420,000 DM, Deutsche Einheit moved to the stables of Adrie Gordijn and Sven Rothenberger in Bad Homberg, Germany. The mare would be prepared for a blooming show career and, therefore, received surprisingly a new name, Donnee. Bred by Gestut Grönwolhdhof out of a Donnerhall x Pik Bube lineage, Donnee eventually competed little as both Sven Rothenberger and Gonnelien Rothenberger-Gordijn had enough other horses to count on (Dondolo, Bo, Ideaal, Without a Doubt, Weyden).

Since July 2000, the mare has been appointed a new career in her life. Mommy Donnee gave birth to a lovely foal (Donna) by Gordijn’s own breeding stallion Lord Liberty G. What a way to celebrate ten years of German unity!”

2010 Premium GOV Black Gelding
Furstenball/ Rosenkavalier/ Milan
Bred By: Maplewood Warmbloods
SOLD! VT, USA

Fursty was born 5/12/2010. He is by the 2008 Oldenburg Champion, Furstenball, who’s damline is simply outstanding. It was an opportunity for MWW to bring the blood of Furst Heinrich into the barn. We are thrilled with his type. His character and personality are second to none. He is long in the legs with balanced and light movement. Excited to watch him mature. Lovely elevated, swinging trot with cadence and natural uphill balance. Very scopey and athletic canter with a correct depart and uphill strides. To mature to 16.2hh.

Updates:

7/12/10 – MW Furstenten received the honor of GOV Premium colt. He was very well received by the inspectors. They loved his type, movement, and length of leg. The comment of the day was “best Furstenball colt they had seen that year… including Germany.”

12/2/2012 – started under saddle. One of the easiest horses to start and was outside on the trails in just 5 rides. The perfect amateurs horse with 3 professional quality gaits.

5/1/2013 – Restarted after gelding in Dec. and winter growing break without lunging. Born broke! Get on and go. Phenominal temperment and movement. Knee, articulation, and swing. Honest horse with super gaits. This is a GP horse anyone will be able to ride…or I’ll eat my hat.

6/15/2014 – Absolutely phenomenal riding horse. Elite Gelding. Going to progress up the levels quickly. Already doing walk to canter, baby flying changes, leg yields, and offering passage steps.

8/3-4/2014 – Fursty was a rock star at his first show getting a 65% & 67% in TLT3. The 67% was in front of USEF “I” judge Anne Gribbons who also gave him an 8 for gaits and praised his character.

2008, black GOV Mare
San Amour/ Rosenkavalier/ Milan
Bred By: Maplewood Warmbloods
SOLD – NC, USA

Rosie is a super young mare wth 3 high-quality gaits and the color most adore. Avoid the uncertainty of buying from a broker as she was bred, born, raised, started, and continues to train here at MWW. She is 100% sound with no vices. Clips, loads, etc. without issue. She is a modern type with long legs. She is still figuring out how to use them. Old blood mixed with modern flair. She is still unfolding and filling out. She will finish at 16.2. She has joint freedom and a willing heart. She loves to hack alone or with others. Super safe in all conditions. As with all young horses she needs a patient and balanced rider with gentle hands. She will take care of her rider. She will develop into your dream horse. Ride now breed later! Though we prefer a show home, she is also a super broodmare prospect with her outstanding pedigree and damline. She is from the only known Rosenkavalier mare in North America. Rosies dam is the stallion Rubinsteins half sister. He was stallion of the century in his time. Her sire San Amour also needs no introduction. A Sandro Hit son with elegant and powerful movement. He received his Hauptpremium status in 2008 and is now schooling GP. This is a unique mare. Not another one North America.

August 2013 – now schooling all of the Second Level movements and addition to some pretty nice half steps. Her lateral work is spectacular. Still growing, filling out, and learning what to do with those long legs. A pretty special mare I would say.
**Super Clean XRays from 8/27/13.

“Eddie” stems from the only known Rosenkavalier mare in North America. By Sir Donnerhall, the movement of Sandro Hit and the presence of Donnerhall are seen here in MW Sir Edward Charles. By Riva he is from the historic and proven ridable lines of Rosenkavalier. Eddie has a wonderful presence, shoulder, neck, and topline. Very scopey, intelligent, and athletic. Chrome! Dark bay with small star and snip and one hind sock. Sweet, athletic, and handsome… quite the combination!

We are thrilled that he is continuing to develop correctly.
