MWW kids had a spectacular season! Having only campaigned 5 horses, we finally lead a respected group of 323 breeding owners to take the top position for 2018. An honor and excitement to have achieved this. The future is bright for certain. It was a high honor to be in the top having competed so few.

Maplewood horses were rockstars at the the 2016 Fall Festival. MW Fabulous was the Reserve Champion Stallion and MW I’m the Lady Texel was the overall Reserve Champion to our own MW Dallas who won the overall for the 3rd consecutive season. They also went on to be the Grand Champion 3 & 4-5yo Materiale horses for their respective championships. MW I’m the Lady Texel was ridden by Erin Powers and MW Dallas was ridden by Meagan Davis. Photos and more information soon, but we wanted to share this amazing experience ASAP!

It seems that every time we have bad weather, more awards arrive to cheer us up! This time lovely year-end championship awards from NEDA. Thank you!

MW Feinermark is again USDF Horse Of the Year!

Our wonderful young colt has done it again…This past December, I was honored to represent him and MW Fabulous at the USDF Convention in Lexington, KY. MW Feinermark was:
*USDF 3yo National Champion Colt
*3yo GOV National Champion Colt
*GOV National Champion 3yo Materiale
*NEDA Year End 3yo Champion Colt

This is his 3rd year in a row for these great honors. This year with a median score of 82.3% and a high score of 85.5%. I cannot begin to tell you how excited I am for this horse to be recognized for what I get to see everyday. He is a gentleman and a kind stallion who is extremely intelligent and moves with some of the best in Europe. I have the feeling he will be just as phenomenal of a producer.

Maplewood Warmbloods is also a proud owner of another year end Champion. MW Fabulous is half brother to MW Furstenten. He is by the world champion Furstenball (Furst Heinrich x Donnerhall x Classiker) out of the States Premium Mare MW Eclipse (Espri / Lemon xx/ Trapper). MW Fabulous was:
*USDF National Champion Yearling Colt
*GOV National Champion Yearling Colt
*NEDA Year End Champion Yearling Colt.

I am so excited to work with these 2 youngsters who are just beginning their careers. What a blast they have been to work with. I’m so glad the judges have liked them as much as I do.

8/1-2/2013
MW Feinermark continued in his winning ways in the August double Breed & Dresssage show. It was the best collection of sporthorses I personally have seen at a breed show (Devon as exception). There were several Sp.Pr. mares and 2 licensed stallions in addition to a plethora of super young stock. I am so proud of Region 8 & 1 breeders and proud to be on the team. We are breeding some of the best horses in the world and they absolutely are International quality and Internationally competitive.

Ok, back to the news…MW Feinermark was the 3yo colt winner, Young Horse Champion, and overall Grand Champion. He was consistent in all his goes showing his fantastic temperament and gaits. The international judges (Janet Foy & Lilo Fore) were all smiles in their comments and scores awarding the good score of 85.5% and the Grand Champion title 2 days in a row. He also won his 3yo colt Materiale Class both days. He is a “horse for the future” per the judges comments and I feel so blessed to be a part of his journey. He is truly a horse of a lifetime.

We are also super proud of a couple other MW horses! MW Fabulous (Furstenball x Espri x Lemon xx) 2012 Premium GOV Colt was Reserve Champion Young Horse and is qualified for the Region 8 Championships colt division with a 9.0 for his walk and general impression. MW Weiss Schwarz (photo left) by Sir Donnerhall I out of El.St.Pr. Wild Rose (Feiner Stern x Aktuell x Futuro) scored an 83% with an 8.8 for her trot. She is from the world famous German damline of Weissena.

MW was pleasantly surprised to hear that our own, MW Cilla Amour by San Amour I out of El.St.Pr. Cilleste II (DeNiro x Hill Hawk xx) won at Hagen on 6/10/2013. The prestigious Kasselmann’s foal show had 24 fillies competing and “Cilly” won by a gap of 3 points. With an 8.94 she qualified for the championships at Lienen Germany. She was just out of the top ten in a class of 103 fillies. Quite the honor and we cannot wait to get her home in September. She is definitely a horse for the future of sporthorses and breeding.
