The farm model. Estrella means “Star” in Spanish in keeping with the solar system theme of Eclipse’s foals. This filly was born on the earlier side of the foaling window. She is strong, healthy, correct, and full of life. Could not be more pleased with her type and character.

The dam is MW St.Pr.St. Eclipse. The damline is responsible for the licensed stallions: Super champion, Blue Hors Future Cup, World Champ, Temptation (Han), Rosentanz, Derano, & finally Instertanz V (Sire of Jennifer Hoffman’s outstanding stallion Rubinio).

MW Eclipse has produced MW Fabulous who is by Furstenball, MW Sir Espri by Sir Donnerhall I, MW Equinox who is by Fursten-Look, and MW Elara who is by Sezuan.  Eclipse has produced 100% Premium foals as well as a filly who returned to Germany as a 3yo to attend the German Mare Championships in Rastede where she finished 5th and earning her States Premium status. Her grandchildren are also doing incredibly well.

*Update: Super in the bridle and a super hind end. Started lunging early January for preparation for riding. Has been sat on a couple times. Is now developing strength. As always with MWW horses, ground work has been fully established so the reactions and movements are correct. First few rides are proving yummy.

This mare in article is out of her sister. I own their mother as well.

Very excited to have Escolar blood in the program since it is blood that is unavailable to the US. The dam is equally as impressive earning her St.Pr. title with excellent scores well over 8. She was on the reserve list for Rastede and nominated for the German mare championship in Lienen. The GOV awarded this filly Premium and Elite at her foal show in Germany. A very coveted title there and is given out to only 1% of the foals.

Very excited about this colt we added in utero. Born February 2018. He is located in Germany and will stay there through (hopefully) licensing. Very excited to spread MW’s reach across the pond. An FEI type for sure. We shall see how he develops as a stallion.

This top colt was approved Mechlenberg in December 2020. He is of the damline of Wiesssena. Same as many stallions at Maplewoods home base. Also same damline of Olympic Weihgold. He is an excellent FEI type stallion with 3 dynamic gaits and a super temperament. He is correct and quick off the ground. This one has the goods. He has been fantastic under saddle and to handle with no vices. Super character and not studdy. Buyer could of course geld prior to import.

This colt is a special one. Grey Flanell has not been an easy breed for NA breeders due to frozen semen quality. MW is blessed and thankful to have 2 of the 4 known Grey Flanell’s produced in the US in 2016. Just like our filly MW Weissgold, this colt has incredible balance, movement, type, and presence. He comes from very special lines as well. Grey Flanell’s sire is Gribaldi who has produced numerous Internationally ranked GP horses including Painted Black, Hofrat, Unee BB, and the infamous Totilas.

The damline (FELDLAND, Hannover Stutenstamm 1193603, Hannover Stamm 454) is equally as special.  The dam of MW Gheyser Peak is the maternal sister to Callaho’s Benecio (Belissimo M x Velten Third). This is also the damline of the stallions World Cup I-IV. At just 4 weeks of age he was inspected by the GOV receiving the coveted Foal of Distinction award as well as being named a stallion prospect.
